One of the challenges of modern times is our brains can run away with situations causing our bodies to alter physically to deal with the stress. The stress is these situations is held in the body and no release is given to the stored up energy. We may waffle over situations and not find immediate solutions to working these out. Another common area of stress and anxiety is from relationships. The stress of relationships with spouses, children, step-children, bosses, co-workers, friends and parents can often trigger psychological effects of stress. Our bodies have a pretty standard reaction to the environment. It is either fight or flight. To facilitate this reaction, the body automatically releases hormones like glucocorticoids and adrenalin.
